Although, they are a tad more expensive than the cartos I have been using, if I get only a week or two out of each one, it is still way cheaper than the $10 a pack a day of analogs I had been using. And they are really cool looking too and very easy to fill as well. They fit nicely on my KGO's which are advertised at 4.2V. So far they seem to work very well on the VG ejuice I filled them with. I never had any real success out of cleaning cartos or attys and gave up, but I thought I would just ask about cleaning the clearomizers. Very good info, thanks.

Very hard to say how many fills it will handle. It depends on how you vape, what you vape, voltage, how well you keep the wick wet etc etc. I've heard of people getting one week and I've heard of others getting 3-4 weeks.
The only real way to clean them is to run hot tap water through them and then let them completely dry out but like atomizers I don't think they will ever work as well as they did when new. I wouldn't recommend Cinnamon or Citrus although I have talked to people who have used it in their clearomizers without issue. If it doesn't crack the tank it may quicken the demise of your wick. Those flavors eat up the insides of cartomizers as well. I am a big Cinnamon Redhots fan but I realize it's hard on devices. Even if you get a Pyrex tank or a stainless steel tank you still have to use a carto which will die quicker than with regular liquids. |

I just go my recent order from Vaporgod with a couple Vision clearomizers. I thought I had ordered the LR ones because I really like LR Smoktech cartos but must have accidentally ordered the standard resistance. No big deal, I can order the LR next time. I am slowly switching over to mostly VG juices because I think I am one of those that are sensitive to PG. I filled one today with my favorite Dekang VG juice and it seems to have no issues with VG. I am getting plenty of flavor and vapor. So far I am really liking these. The vaporgod juices I have been using were 20 PG/80 VG but I am starting to switch them all to 5 PG/95 VG. Since the VG Dekang was wicking well, I think I should be ok with these new juices as well. But I have a couple questions...
1. How many refills can these reasonably handle before needing to change to a new one? 2. Is there a recommended way to clean them especially if I want to switch flavors? and finally 3. Is there any flavor juice that shouldn't be used in these e.g. Red Hot cinnamon. I have seen where certain juices end up cracking the tanks and it seems like the clearomizers may be made of similar materials. I have a cinnamon flavor from another vendor that has quite a bite to it and I usually end up changing the cartos after something like 3 refills and it also ended up melting the base of one of my plastic drip tips. I have since switched to using an aluminum drip tip. I just really like it but I would pretty much assume that this would be a no go. Your Red Hot doesn't have quite the same kick but is still really good. Would yours be ok? Also I have seen where citrus flavors also may cause cracking issues. On my regular ejuice list, I have lemon and tangerine. Unlike the melting drip tip on the cinnamon, the cartos and drip tips have not seemed to suffer at all when using lemon or tangerine. Would there be any problem with using either of these? TIA |

I was considering getting into clearomizers but was curious about resistance. VG has two types, Standard and Low. What is the difference?

Just wanted to drop a note and say that I am kind of new to vaping and very grateful to have found Vaporgod.com. It was all coincidental that I started vaping in the first place. My son had always nagged me to quit, lol, But my reply, "talk to the hand, the heads not listening." He even went so far as to buy me one of those disposables from the gas station! Well that got thrown in my desk draw for a couple months, until one day, I had to go in for surgery and just about panicked because I would not be able to go outside and smoke, it wasn't allowed on campus. So I dug threw all my junk in my desk until I found the ecig package; not even opened yet. Well surgery went well and it was time for my nic fix so I hobbled into the bathroom attached to my IV pole and my ecig. OMG I just about choked my first puff! What a horrible flavor! None the less, I needed my fix so I managed to try a few more puffs. Well the taste wasn't too bad after a while. But the first thing I did when I got into the car to go home was light up the real thing. It just didn't feel right and it seemed like a dirty smoke and smelled. I never noticed that before. So time went on and my sister with COPD was getting worse so I tried the ecig with her. But I ordered kits online. I thought Id try a kit too and quit smoking real cigs along with my sister. Now this ecig tasted great and I was hooked on the taste. What a big difference from the gas station disposible. Since Feb. 14th 2012, I not smoked a real cig again. My sister however had a bad reaction to it. She lost her voice and got a sore throat. After a couple of weeks, I was tired of the battery changing and refilling cartos so often that I wanted to graduate to a tank style device. I spent a lot of time reading and watching youtube vids. I made my choice to try the Kgo. At first I liked it but there are some leakage problems. I bought the 3.5 dual coil carto tanks. And I learned how to drip onto the atty. I purchased 2 kits so I'd have 4 batteries to switch back and forth with. I talked to the vendor in which I was uncomfortable with as he seemed unwilling to talk, took for ever to answer emails and actually seemed a little attitudish. I talked to him about the leaking problems. Well right away of course its all operator error. But only 3 drops and its leaking? As soon as I would get a burnt taste from the atty I'd add 3 or 4 more drops. Nice clean hits but messy leaking and always getting juice on my fingers. I like how long my Kgo batteries last, as I have become to be a heavy vaporer. I go through all 4 batteries daily. Well I thought I'd try some different cartos now and found vaporgod.com. I tried the VISION EGO CLEAROMIZER LOW RESISTANCE and the SMOKTECH 510 DUAL COIL MEGA LR CARTOMIZER 5 PACK - CLEAR WITH FREE 5ML BOTTLE OF ELIQUID. And ya know what? I have NO leaks! I am a happy girl now! I emailed with vaporgod a few times and was amazed at how fast they were to reply and get back to me. I was kind of worried at first because the first vendor I dealt with seemed like maybe he has customer burn out? I know how that can happen as I have had an internet business for many years and it happened to me too. But vaporgod made me vape all my fears away, is fast and seems very friendly and there to help a newbie. Love the service, love the products. Can't wait to place another order. It might be time for me to take another step up though and try a mod with a big boy battery so I can hopefully vape all day on 1 battery charge. Time to do my homework.
Thanks vaporgod for all your help. BTW, is the clearomizer glass? It seems like it. reason I want to know is that I have some juices that are said to be prone to cracking the plastic tanks. If the Clearomizer is in fact glass, I should have nothing to worry about. Nice to meet some other fellow vaporers. Peace out from Wisconsin! Bren |

I really enjoy VG's Orange e-juice. It's got a great citrus-y and bittersweet taste to it. Kind of like the smell you get when you pinch an orange peel between your fingers. However, I've noticed that this juice tends to wear out cartomizers really quickly. After only about four fills, the flavor begins to change to something oily and somewhat unpleasant. Also, the "drag" begins to get very resistant. This doesn't happen with my other juices. (I regularly use Tobacco/Clove, Candy Cane and Cherry/Cola. All are 11mg nic with an 80/20 mix. I also use a combination of V2 refillable cartos and Smoktech RN4081 refillable cartos that I got through VG.)
I just wanted to throw this out there to see if anyone else also uses Orange and experiences these symptoms. I really like this juice and would hate to give it up. Thanks! |

Glad to have you as a customer! We encourage everyone to leave reviews of their custom mixes done via the Flavor Lab. Hopefully we'll get more!
As for the 510 to 801 connector we don't currently stock it. I would recommend grabbing one here - http://www.madvapes.com/510-Battery-to-801-Atomizer-Adapter_p_2340.html Yes they they are a competitor but we stack up well against their prices so I don't mind sending you there for a part if we don't have it. I'd rather you have what you need! |
