Don't get me wrong....I'll vape in a bar that allows smoking and I'll vape with the smokers outside if a bar doesn't allow smoking but I don't push the envelope of using an electronic cigarette in an establishment that bans smoking. It's just not worth even potentially causing a problem for or with the establishment.
Besides....outside with the smokers is a great place to be! They are the people that can actually benefit from seeing me vape. They are the people that have the best questions and can be turned on to an alternative method to get their nicotine.
